✍️ Log a Shot

⚡ Quick tools & sheetsWorks with no data

Tap where it landed — one real shot into today's session, no launch monitor.

What it does

Log a Shot records a single real shot (club, carry, side, lie, wind) by tapping a landing pad. It becomes a real session for today that flows into your bag, dispersion, game state and the coach like any upload — sensor fields it cannot know stay empty rather than guessed.

When to use it

Playing without a device and you want the course to count.

Where to find it: Log a shot — it opens as a sheet over whatever you are looking at.

How to use it

  1. Open it from Quick Caddie (Hit it? Log this shot) — the club and yardage are prefilled.
  2. Tap the landing pad where the ball finished relative to the target; adjust the club if needed.
  3. Save — it appends to today's session.

Frequently asked questions

Will these mix with my launch-monitor data?

They are the same kind of session, tagged as logged. Carry-only, so metrics like spin stay N/A.

Every tab is covered in the Using ShotIQ guide. In the app, the same guide lives in Learn › Using ShotIQ — and the AI coach answers from it.
