🗺️ Course & Rounds

⛳ Play & ScoreNeeds an uploaded session

Live GPS caddie from your carries, plans on the map, rounds that feed back.

What it does

Course & Rounds is the on-course layer (free while in beta). Find a course — near you or by name — and start a live round: the caddie shows your position, the hole, your club's landing ellipse, and picks the club from your real bag; tap the club you hit and score as you go. Prep a round plans each hole shot by shot from home and shows the plan when you play it. Upload a round reads a photo of your scorecard or app screenshot and checks it against the card's own totals.

When to use it

Before a round to plan, during it to club, after it to log.

How to use it

  1. Find a course (allow location, or search by name). Courses are mapped by the community — tell us what feels off.
  2. Play a live round: pick tees, walk to the tee, read the caddie's pick, tap the club you hit, enter the score per hole.
  3. Prep a round: choose the course, drag targets on each hole to set the plan, keep it — it is pinned on Home until you play it.
  4. Upload a round: photograph the scorecard; check the per-hole read before saving.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need data first?

The caddie clubs you from your uploaded carries; with none it falls back to handicap estimates and says so.

My course looks wrong.

Geometry comes from OpenStreetMap and community edits — use the feedback link on the course to report it.

Every tab is covered in the Using ShotIQ guide. In the app, the same guide lives in Learn › Using ShotIQ — and the AI coach answers from it.
