SkyTrak / SkyTrak+

Mid-rangePhotometric (high-speed cameras); SkyTrak+ adds Doppler radarSkyTrak

SkyTrak's camera-first design photographs the ball at launch, which makes it excellent on directly-measured ball data — speed, launch and spin — indoors where cameras thrive. The SkyTrak+ generation added radar and a wider hitting zone, plus club-delivery estimates.

What it measures

Club-data honesty: Original SkyTrak is ball-flight only; SkyTrak+ adds club estimates. ShotIQ reads back/side-spin exports natively and converts them into the same spin-axis picture used for every other device.

How to export your data

  1. Open the SkyTrak app's session history
  2. Open the range session you want to keep
  3. Use the session's Export / Share option where available to save the shot table (CSV)
  4. No export on your app version? Screenshot the shot list — ShotIQ reads that too

Formats ShotIQ accepts from this source: CSV (back-spin/side-spin headers are an auto-detect signature), screenshots, or PDF reports. Exact menu names move between app versions — look for Share or Export on the session detail view. And if a file won't come out, ShotIQ also reads screenshots of session screens and PDF reports, so no session is stranded.

Frequently asked questions

Does ShotIQ work with SkyTrak?

Yes — upload a CSV where your app version offers one, or screenshot the session shot list and ShotIQ's AI reads it. SkyTrak's back-spin/side-spin format is auto-detected and converted to the same spin-axis analysis used for every device.

How do I export SkyTrak data?

From the SkyTrak app's session history, open the session and use its Export/Share option to save the shot table. If your app version doesn't offer a file export, screenshots of the shot list work in ShotIQ.

Is photometric or radar better?

Cameras measure launch and spin directly at the ball and excel indoors; radar tracks the full flight and excels outdoors. Both produce data ShotIQ analyzes identically — the honest answer is that setup quality and strike matter more than the technology tribe.
