TruGolf's LaunchBox is a 2.7 lb portable camera unit with an E-ink display that reads ball data and plays E6 Connect (27 courses included); the ceiling-mounted Apogee measures full club and ball data with no stickers or marked balls. Neither E6 Connect nor E6 APEX exports a per-shot CSV, so ShotIQ reads TruGolf sessions from screenshots of the shot-data screen.

Which numbers are measured — and which are computed
Every launch monitor computes some of what it shows. A carry distance is a trajectory model run on measured launch numbers; a smash factor is one measurement divided by another. Knowing which is which tells you how much to trust a change — and it is what ShotIQ's import gateway uses to decide which analyses to switch on for your sessions.

Spin, balls and stickers
Spin: Camera-measured with any ball.
Club data: Apogee only. LaunchBox sessions are ball-flight sessions in ShotIQ — carries, gaps, dispersion, no Impact Lab delivery reads.
Subscription: No data paywall. E6 APEX is a subscription; E6 Connect Home is included with the unit.

How to get your data into ShotIQ
E6 Connect / E6 APEX (screenshots)
- After each shot (or at the range summary) open the shot-data screen.
- Screenshot it — Windows: Win + Print Screen, Mac: Cmd + Shift + 3, iPad: side + volume up.
- Upload the images to ShotIQ → Add a session → Choose Screenshots (up to 10 per upload) and declare the device.
Format: Screenshots (AI read) — E6 has no per-shot CSV; its web portal offers scorecards, not shot data.
