Low-Point Line Drill
🎯 Irons & ContactIntermediate2 sets of 10 shots
What it fixes: Consistent low point and divot control.
How to do it
- Draw or spray a straight line on the turf, perpendicular to your target line
- Hit shots with the ball placed on the line
- Your divot should start AT the line and extend ahead of it
- 10 balls - count how many divots start on the correct side
Pro tip: Weight 60% on your lead side at address keeps the low point forward

This drill moves Carry consistency — track it session to session with the Carry Distance guide open. A drill without a measured before/after is a feeling, not a fix: hit a baseline block, do the drill, re-measure the same block.
Why this works: the mechanics behind it are explained in Low Point — Where your swing bottoms out — the difference between pure and fat.
