Low-Point Line Drill

🎯 Irons & ContactIntermediate2 sets of 10 shots

What it fixes: Consistent low point and divot control.

How to do it

  1. Draw or spray a straight line on the turf, perpendicular to your target line
  2. Hit shots with the ball placed on the line
  3. Your divot should start AT the line and extend ahead of it
  4. 10 balls - count how many divots start on the correct side
Pro tip: Weight 60% on your lead side at address keeps the low point forward

This drill moves Carry consistency — track it session to session with the Carry Distance guide open. A drill without a measured before/after is a feeling, not a fix: hit a baseline block, do the drill, re-measure the same block.

Why this works: the mechanics behind it are explained in Low Point — Where your swing bottoms out — the difference between pure and fat.
