🧰 Fitting Guide

📊 Know Your GameBest after 3+ sessions

Every club scored from your own shots, then the one change that tightens scoring.

What it does

The Fitting Guide grades each club on four pillars — distance control, consistency, spin and trajectory — from your measured shots, and names the highest-value change. Scoring Zone maps everything from 130 yards in, fusing full-swing wedge carries with Wedge Matrix partials into one coverage ladder; Full Bag grades the whole set and finds the structural holes.

When to use it

Before a fitting or a wedge purchase, or when the bag has a gap you keep noticing on the course.

How to use it

  1. Choose Scoring Zone or Full Bag.
  2. Read The Fitting Move — the single change ShotIQ rates highest — then Your Money Club and Weak Link.
  3. Scroll the coverage ladder: every stock shot top to bottom, gaps marked ≈15y gap · no stock shot.
  4. Tap a club under Every scoring club, scored to see its four pillar scores and the numbers behind them.
  5. Use Refine with the Wedge Matrix → to dial a partial swing before buying a loft.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a real club fitting?

It is a data fitting: it tells you what your set is doing and where the hole is. A fitter picks the shaft and head — bring this to them.

Every tab is covered in the Using ShotIQ guide. In the app, the same guide lives in Learn › Using ShotIQ — and the AI coach answers from it.
