🎯 Target Lab
Proximity scoring from target practice — where your misses actually finish.
What it does
Target Lab reads target-mode exports (Rapsodo targets and similar) and scores them on proximity instead of carry: median leave per distance, your scoring windows from 30 to 230+ yards, on-target %, depth bias, and the trend over sessions. Target shots never enter your bag carries — a soft wedge at a 60-yard flag is not evidence about your full-swing wedge.
When to use it
After a target or closest-to-the-pin session, and before working on a distance you keep leaving short or long.
How to use it
- Upload a target session (Upload → here, or Add a session with the Target practice chip).
- Read Accuracy by Distance — taller bar = tighter; the number is your median leave. Tap a bar for the clubs used.
- Check Your Scoring Windows for the band marked Train next and the one marked Money zone.
- If the export did not name clubs, tag each target under Clubs & lofts once — every chart and Add to Bag will use it.
- Open Distance Lab (top toggle) for a per-distance deep dive.
What you'll see
- Depth bias (short/long) — the share of misses finishing short with the club-up advice.
- Median leave over time — is your proximity tightening across sessions?
- 3D shot dispersion — orbit and filter this session's finishes.
Tips
- Free plan includes 5 target uploads on their own allowance, separate from file imports.
Frequently asked questions
Why don't these shots change my bag distances?
By design. Target practice is partial-swing, flag-hunting data; your bag holds stock full swings. Add to Bag is there when a target genuinely was a stock shot.
