🥅 Putting Lab

🎯 Get BetterNeeds a phone video

Film a stroke; get tempo, rhythm and repeatability — and what to practise.

What it does

Putting Lab analyses your stroke from video. Stroke mode works on a mat or carpet and reads mechanics only; Performance mode on a green adds speed and hole result when the camera can measure them confidently. You set the intended distance as a calibration target, follow the camera checklist, record, and get a read with the drill to run next.

When to use it

Indoors in winter, or when three-putts are the scoring leak the Game Plan names.

How to use it

  1. Pick Stroke or Performance mode.
  2. Choose the distance you are practising (5–40 ft or custom).
  3. Set the camera: landscape, 6–8 ft behind the ball, 8–12 in above the surface, ball and whole putter visible. Tap Continue to Recording →.
  4. Record a few strokes; read tempo, stroke shape and consistency, then tap through to the putting drills.
