📐 Setup Lab
🎯 Get BetterBest after 3+ sessions
Address fixes ranked by strokes — alignment, ball position, tee height. Zero swing change.
What it does
Setup Lab scans your shot data for patterns that start at address: a club that starts right with no curve (aim), a driver with a level attack angle (tee height and ball position), a wedge launching low (ball too far back). Each finding says what to do, what to expect, and what it is costing you, ranked.
When to use it
Before you change a swing — most cheap strokes are here.
How to use it
- Read the total at the top (~strokes/round from setup alone).
- Work the cards top to bottom: Do this, Expected, then 🎓 Learn or 🧢 Ask your coach.
- Re-upload after a session with the fix in place — a card disappears when the pattern does.
What you'll see
- Each card names the club and the evidence ("starts 2.6° right with almost no curve").
Tips
- Alignment findings need start-line data (face angle or horizontal launch) — devices without it will show fewer cards.
Frequently asked questions
Why is Setup Lab separate from Practice Lab?
Setup fixes need no drill — a stick on the ground and a ball position. Practice Lab is for swing changes.
