Casting Fix — Hold the Lag
🔧 Ball-Flight FixesAdvanced3 sets of 8 shots
What it fixes: Stop releasing early — deliver the handle first for real compression.
How to do it
- Make slow swings feeling the trail wrist stay bent (hinged) as you start down
- Feel the butt of the grip point at the ball (or just inside it) when your hands reach hip height
- Hit small punch shots with the hands leading and the shaft leaning at the target
- Build to full swings keeping that late, trail-wrist-back feel
Pro tip: Feel: 'flick the mud off the shaft late' — the clubhead lags behind the hands and releases past the ball, not from the top.

This drill moves Smash / compression — track it session to session with the Smash Factor guide open. A drill without a measured before/after is a feeling, not a fix: hit a baseline block, do the drill, re-measure the same block.
