Slice Killer — Release Gate

🔧 Ball-Flight FixesBeginner3 sets of 8 balls

What it fixes: Stop the slice — square an open face and quit swinging across it.

How to do it

  1. Lay a headcover just outside the ball so you can't swing over the top down into it
  2. Stick a tee a ball-width outside the toe as a gate — clear it by releasing the face
  3. Make slow swings feeling the toe pass the heel through impact and the glove logo turn down to the ground
  4. Then hit balls trying to START the ball right of target and draw it back — over-correct the curve
Pro tip: Feel: swing the exit out to right-field and let the trail forearm roll over the lead — the exact opposite of your slice.

Watch it in your data

This drill moves Side carry / start line — track it session to session with the Carry Distance guide open. A drill without a measured before/after is a feeling, not a fix: hit a baseline block, do the drill, re-measure the same block.

Why this works: the mechanics behind it are explained in Face to Path — The single number that explains why your ball curves.
