Hook Fix — Body Leads
🔧 Ball-Flight FixesIntermediate3 sets of 8 balls
What it fixes: Tame the hook — quiet the hands, keep the body turning through.
How to do it
- Play the ball a touch forward and set the grip slightly weaker (hands rotated toward target)
- Feel your chest and belt buckle keep rotating LEFT through impact — don't let the hands flip it shut
- Make swings holding the glove logo pointing at the target a beat longer past the ball
- Hit shots trying to hit a soft fade that holds its line
Pro tip: Feel: the handle stays ahead of the clubhead and your chest 'covers' the ball — rotation squares the face, not a flick.

This drill moves Side carry / start line — track it session to session with the Carry Distance guide open. A drill without a measured before/after is a feeling, not a fix: hit a baseline block, do the drill, re-measure the same block.
Why this works: the mechanics behind it are explained in Release — How the face squares through impact — timing, not flipping.
