Chicken-Wing Fix — Reach & Release
🔧 Ball-Flight FixesIntermediate3 sets of 8 shots
What it fixes: Stop the bent lead arm at impact — extend for width and a square face.
How to do it
- Make swings feeling BOTH arms reach long down the target line just past the ball
- Let the club then fold up over your lead shoulder — wide first, then release
- On chips, tuck a glove under your lead arm to feel connection, then lengthen the swing
- Hit balls feeling the toe release over the heel through a long extension
Pro tip: Feel: 'reach for right-field' just past impact — arms extend wide before the club folds, instead of the lead elbow pulling in.

This drill moves Strike / face — track it session to session with the Face Angle guide open. A drill without a measured before/after is a feeling, not a fix: hit a baseline block, do the drill, re-measure the same block.
