Sway Fix — Turn in a Barrel
🔧 Ball-Flight FixesIntermediate3 sets of 8 swings
What it fixes: Rotate around your centre instead of sliding, for a steady low point.
How to do it
- Place an alignment stick just outside your trail hip and one just outside your lead hip
- Swing back coiling INTO your trail hip without touching the outside stick — no sway
- Swing down and through, clearing into your lead hip without sliding past its stick
- Feel the hips spin inside the 'barrel' — rotary, not lateral
Pro tip: Feel: coil into the trail hip going back, then clear the lead hip open coming through — nothing slides outside your feet.

This drill moves Strike / low point — track it session to session with the Strike Location guide open. A drill without a measured before/after is a feeling, not a fix: hit a baseline block, do the drill, re-measure the same block.
Why this works: the mechanics behind it are explained in Rotation & Weight Shift — The body's engine — pressure moves first, rotation delivers.
